Dylan: Six Months Old!

My boy is growing up. He can sit up on his own now. He rolls over onto his stomach constantly now, even sleeping on it. Where before he would only scream when on his tummy. He still cries after awhile, but not as bad. He is starting to figure the crawling thing out with his butt up in the air. He is now laughing all the time, mostly at the dogs and pig noises. It is so adorable, but that is probably just the parent in me. He is now a little drool monster, those teeth have got to be coming any time. He loves his veggies, but not the fruit so much. I think he gets that from his daddy. To top it all off he waved bye-bye for the first time yesterday. Now he probably thinks all adults are nuts because that is all anyone tries to get him to do now. I took his photos this last weekend and we got some gorgeous afternoon light. Every time I take new photos of him they are my new favorites, until the next time that is, this time was no exception.

This picture cracks me up to no end. He looks exactly like my dad in it. I swear I have even seen my dad make this face when he was getting a picture taken.

P.S. I was right. We just discovered his first tooth.

Rachel and Steve at the Beach.

Whenever I get over to the coast my short time there is always jam packed with visiting, but I always like to try to get to the beach because I do miss it. This time I combined a quick visit with shooting some more engagement photos of my sister and her fiance. They were goofy as always, but was able to get some great shots anyway. We got some unintentional water shots when we were so preoccupied that we did not notice the waves coming in. It made for some great images.

Haltiner Wedding!

Well here are some more photos from the fabulous wedding I shot a few weekends ago. The day was perfect. Not too hot, the clouds cleared off for the few hours around the wedding, and it did not rain. This wedding was so much fun to shoot. A great couple and really fun wedding party. If all weddings and couples were like this everyone would want to be a wedding photographer.

I have known Will and Jenny for several years as Will is my sister in-law's brother. To tell the truth and he is probably going to kill me for this, but I actually went to kindergarten with Will. Back then he was know as Willy and ate paper on the school bus. This was very hard for me to get over when our younger siblings started dating several years ago. This image of him is greatly diminished now. I had a great time getting to know both Will and Jenny better. They are such a sweet couple it is easy to see why they have so many friends.

These two bridesmaids were pregnant so she wanted pictures kissing the bellies, so cute.

Sneak Peak: Haltiner Wedding!

Things have been pretty crazy trying to get caught back up from being gone for the wedding and get the editing done on the photos I did. As I type this I can hear Dylan waking up. I have been only able to work on these when he is sleeping. I promised Jenny a sneak peak before the weekend so here it is. It was so hard just to pick a few. They are such a stinking gorgeous couple they all turned out amazing.

Baby and Puppies.

I just had to post these pictures before we leave. Who can resist babies and puppies, especially when you put them together. I unfortunately did not get to be there to see it in person, but my sister in law took these for me. I just love them. They are too cute.

Oliver Family Session.

Here is some more photos from the shoot Sunday. This was a shoot that had been planned for last month but because of Cory's accident we did not get to do it until this last weekend. As it turned out we had a beautiful day, even if it was a little warm. So without further ado here they are.

Love this one. They caught a Sierra fish.
